Hi moms.  I know kids of same ages sometimes have different shoe sizes but just want some idea of what sizes fits what age.

I’m trying to collect clothes for 3 kids in need and want to know the shoe sizes for ages 10, 9 and 6.

If you have kids of same ages what sizes do you buy for them?

That’s difficult to say, as the sizes vary widely.  My daughter of 10 is wearing a size 5 or 6 now.

I am not a mom but can tell you this about boys who are just average

    Age 6 size 12

    7 -1        8 – 2   9 -3   10 – 4,5    11-5,6

Once after 11, the changes start to be dependent on the foot. Then growth slows down where for a long time it will stay at size 7 then 8.

For girls? I have no idea but would have done the following:

for a 6yr size 1 for a 9  and 10 yr olds size 3 unless you think they are little taller.

    That is my guess.

This really is a difficult one. At 10 my son was a size 5, at 13, a size 9!  A good shoestore (not in a department store, a small one) will be able to use the length to help you gauge the right size for average sized kids. This is so kind of you to help these kids.
