    My gynaecologist advised me to go for a 3D scan soon and I was wondering if it is really necessary to do that?  What are the benefits of doing such a scan?

    There was no such thing when I was pregnant (or at least not that I knew of). But I have seen scans of friends and family members and they do give amazing detail. Good luck!
